Nemours Children’s Health, Office of Continuing Medical Education is always available to answer emails sent to info@HotTopics.org. We realize at times you may need a faster answer, therefore we have listed our most frequently asked questions (FAQs) below:

How do I obtain a receipt?

Below are instructions on accessing your receipt. You may also email info@HotTopics.org for a copy.

Search for an email titled “Your Order at Nemours Children’s Health CE.”

  • Log into ce.nemours.org using the email and password you used to register for Hot Topics.
  • Go to Orders & Receipts from the My Account dropdown.
  • Under Actions go to the Print icon to view and print your receipt.
  • Print Invoice on the top right corner of your screen.

Group registrations allows a hospital or other agency to register multiple attendees with one payment. Please contact Betsy Lee, to start the group registration process.

Is there a discount rate for group registrations?
There are no discounted rates for group registrations.

Is there a minimum number to register as a group?
There is no minimum number of people needed for a group.

What information will I need to send for a group registration?
Attendee name and credentials, hospital or practice name, and email address.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express AMEX) or by wire transfer.

Log into ce.nemours.org using the email and password you used to register.

  1. From My Account dropdown select Courses. 
  2. Select Hot Topics in Neonatology® to be taken to the course page.*
  3. Click Take Course then Credit under the Course Progress menu.
  4. Select Start and follow the prompts to claim your credits.
  5. Finally, go to the Next button to access and print your certificate.

* If you attended Neonatal Quality at Hot Topics, repeat steps 1-5 to claim credit for that conference.

What type of attendees come to Hot Topics in Neonatology?
Our event attendees are primarily neonatologists, residents, advanced practice nurses and allied health professionals.

What is included in the exhibitor fee?

  • Access for 3 exhibitor representatives
  • Exhibitor representative access to general sessions, daily breakfast, snacks and beverage breaks
  • Undraped 8 x 10 table
  • 2 chairs
  • Wastebasket
  • 10 x 10 exhibit space for your equipment, pop up display, etc.

Can additional exhibitor representative access be purchased?
Yes, additional exhibitor representatives can attend by purchasing additional exhibitor representative access.

When you say tabletop display, what does that mean exactly?
Your exhibit can include tabletop-sized items, or you can forgo the included table and use the 10 x 10 space with freestanding equipment, etc. There will not be pipe and drape included, only an undraped table (8 x 10) with 2 chairs and wastebasket.

What has been the previous attendance at Hot Topics in Neonatology, so we can plan for giveaways, marketing materials?
We are back to an in-person event. In years past, when Hot Topics in Neonatology was in-person, it had approximately 1,000+ attendees.

When is the abstract/poster deadline?
This changes every year. In 2024, the abstract deadline is October 3 and if accepted, poster submissions are due November 13.

How many pages can we submit for the abstract?
No more than one page including graphs and tables.

Are encore posters allowed?
Yes, encore posters are eligible.

How many abstracts can an author submit?
Maximum of two abstracts per submitting author. The primary contact person for selected abstracts will be required to register for and attend the live conference.  

Is there a word limit for abstracts?
Yes, the body of the abstract should not be greater than 250 words and be clear, descriptive and self-explanatory.

I've registered for Hot Topics but I am not receiving emails.
Many institutions have installed robust SPAM and security measures on incoming emails. Please be sure to mark FromtheOfficeofCME@nemours.org as a safe sender. You may need to check with your IT and security team to make sure our Hot Topics emails get through your firewall.

Consider changing your email on your NemoursCE profile to a personal email address. Upon log in at ce.nemours.org, go to My Account in the top right corner, then click on Edit to update your email address. DO NOT create a new profile for your new email.

Please do not unsubscribe from the Hot Topics in Neonatology® email list in Constant Contact or you will miss important conference information. Hot Topics uses Constant Contact as our email server for correspondence related to Hot Topics including:

  • Registration information
  • Satellite Symposia information
  • Log in information
  • Daily evaluation surveys
  • Claiming credit and certificate information
